Greeves

Sauntering out of an LA club in 1975 is Greeves’s prog rock piece ‘Moving Up’.

The Melbourne based 5 piece leave no stone unturned in the breadth of their performances. High energy riffs, dreamy verses, catchy melodies, dual guitar solos, five part vocal harmonies with rousing lyrics – there’s a lot to sink your teeth into.

The band has sown their live seeds supporting the likes of Abbe May and Sons of Rico as well as crushing stages at St Kilda Festival and Beyond the Valley. Now they look to 2016 as an opportunity to take their music to the next level and share their distinctive sounds with bigger audiences.
Taken from the climax of their debut album ‘Bulletchild’, ‘Moving Up’ is simply dripping with swagger. From the reggae infused strut of the verses, to the galloping eruption of rhythm throughout the solo, the single is a far-fetched throw-back with a contemporary attitude.
